Buli is named once the buri palm. Alabang is named once the river that passes from the barangay. Ayala Alabang was designed by Batas Pambansa Bilang 219 from Barangay Alabang. Sucat acquired its name in the vernacular term "sukat", which implies "measurement" since it was calcula
